DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the Outcomes of the TRɄA World Summit on Traditional Knowledge related to Biodiversity at the United Nations Climate Change Conference\n  \nDATE: 18 November\, 2024 \nTIME: 3 to 4 PM local time \nVENUE: Indigenous Pavilion \nMODALITY: Panel discussion and dialogue \nInterpretation in English and Spanish available. \nSUMMARY: \nThe IIFB participated of the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)\, which took place in Baku\, Azerbaijan from 11 to 22 November 2024\, with the side event  “Indigenous Guardians of the Earth: Protecting our Ancestral Lands”. \nThis side event\, co-organized with the IIN\, IWBN\, AIWO and the International Alliance of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples of the Tropical Forests\, featured Lucy Mulenkei\, Co-chair of the IIFB as main speaker.
