Olga has participated for twelve years in the organization of the Meeting of Mayan communities of Belize, Mexico and Guatemala, where issues of Language, Identity, Governance and Cosmovision were discussed. She has also worked with Garifuna communities in her country.
She is a member of the Indigenous Women Biodiversity Network (IWBN)- Latin America and the Caribbean Region, as well as of the IU Kuxtal Masewal (The Maya Institute of Belize), where she has provided technical assistance and represented the organization in international forums on gender and climate change issues, among others.
